Our flagship Academic Spanish options is exactly what you’d imagine if you were to Sign up in a Spanish course at a professional language academy—except it’s way more fun, dynamic, and immersive! Think grammar, spelling, syntax, and all the linguistic tools you need to master Spanish. But we don’t stop at textbooks—we go further by immersing you in real-life situations that transform your existing knowledge into fluent, confident communication.

A structured academic program designed for international students to master Spanish in academic contexts. Leads to an official certificate upon completion.

A short-term course focused on developing academic Spanish skills. It course does not lead to a professional or academic degree. A proof of attendance will be provided upon course completion.

Academic Spanish as a Foreign Language Program

This is our internationally certified curriculum, organized by Spanish levels from A1 to C2. It’s ideal if you’re planning to stay longer, move through structured modules, and even apply for a student visa during your immersive journey

Our academic programs are accredited and designed to teach Spanish to the international community, under Operating License No. 201950075734 issued on August 20, 2019; Resolution No. 202450041857 dated June 13, 2024; Program Resolution No. 202450087013 dated November 1, 2024; and Resolution No. 202550010303 dated February 19, 2025.

Level Placement

To officially enroll in our Academic Spanish Programs, students with prior knowledge of the language must complete the RAP (Recognition of Prior Learning) placement process. This ensures accurate placement within our structured curriculum, which follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). You will be placed in one of the following learning modules or units. Successful completion of each stage allows for official certification and continued progression through the program.

This program is open to students regardless of their immigration status—whether traveling on a tourist permit or applying for a student visa.

Academic Spanish as Extension Course

A more flexible, short-term option that can be purchased by the week—perfect for travelers. It’s structured around weekly challenges that activate the Spanish you already know, helping you apply it in real, everyday conversations. The goal? To get you speaking with locals, comfortably and confidently, as fast as possible.

You can make your experience even more intensive by combining this course option with our Conversational Crash Course—a focused, practical immersion designed to skyrocket your fluency in real-world contexts.

With this powerful add-on, you can customize your learning intensity by choosing to take 2, 3, or even 4 class blocks per day.

At Elefun, every break is a moment to practice Spanish with other students, chat with our staff, or enjoy a free cup of Colombian coffee.

On special days, you might even taste traditional Colombian flavors or join casual presentations and conversations led by students—learning in the most natural way

Level Placement

Academic Spanish as Extension Course

In this course, you will go through a free placement process—consisting of a multiple-choice test, an interview, or a diagnostic class. This helps us assess your current knowledge and place you in the most appropriate course: Beginner, Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced.The program is designed to complement and activate the language knowledge that travelers often bring with them when arriving in a Spanish-speaking country, helping them put it into practice in real-life situations.

This course does not lead to a professional degree. A proof of attendance will be provided upon course completion
